Changes
Since last I wrote, a lot has happened. We stayed the summer in Quartzsite and found that it definitely was not something we could do permanently. By September the double-wide was up for sale and it was sold. We moved all the stuff to the Tooele home and we started looking in LaVerkin, Utah just 4 short hours (instead of 12 hours )away from Tooele where our summer house is and where Mom now lives. LaVerkin is a lot colder than Quartzsite, but it keeps me out of the ice and snow(most of the time), and the summers will be do-able. There is hot and then there is Quartzsite which gave hot a whole new meaning! Its nice to be living close to a temple and a Walmart. Yes, I thought I was part Hermit, but even at my age I can come to know myself better. So I admit, I need civilization if for no other reason then I can't afford long ,expensive trips as often as I need to run to a store. I miss the branch there sometimes, but our new ward is really good also. The church is the church wherever you go and we are one family. It was a pricey move but I believe we have found the location for the rest of our mortality, unless God has something else in mind. In my life I have not been granted permanence. So making long range plans seems futile to me. It seems when I do try to plan, God comes along with something different in mind, so now I say only God knows for sure, as for me, I just am along for the ride.
